Dr. Shin is a highly regarded specialist in periondontal disease, gum disease and dental implants. He graduated with honors from the New York University School of Dentistry in 1999, fulfilled residency requirements at Down State Medical Center and Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, and has since performed over 10,000 surgical procedures. In 2003 he became board certified and also received “Best Clinician Award” from the Department of Periodontology at NYU, where he is a member of the dental school faculty.

Rio Vista is pleased to announce the start of construction for the expansion of the Dingman’s Dairy facility on Pennsylvania Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey. The construction involves the addition of a new freezer building and other warehouse and office facilities on Pennsylvania Avenue and a new dry storage building on Alabama Avenue. Warren Bigos of Rio Vista will manage the entire project.

Rio Vista and the New Jersey Health Care Center is pleased to announce that it has joined forces with Denise and Bill Hayes to establish the Pharmacy and Prescription Dispensary at the Center located at 680 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell. The Pharmacy is expected to open in June 2009.
Bill and Denise Hayes bring with them a wealth of experience, expertise, and innovation from their many years at the Haworth Apothecary, which they own and operate as an independent and family owned pharmacy, gift store, and cafe. The Center’s Pharmacy plans to join the Good Neighbor Pharmacy Provider’s Network and will offer full service compounding.

New Director of IT Services: Michal Krasucki
Rio Vista is pleased to welcome Michal Krasucki as the new Director of IT Services for Rio Vista and is responsible for setting of concepts and policies for managing information technology infrastructure, development and operations. Michal received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from Hawaii Pacific University and worked as a database specialist for Colliers Monroe Friedlander, Hawaii’s largest real estate company. In addition to his four years of experience in the IT field, Michal also speaks fluent Polish, and will be focusing his expertise on managing the IT assets for Rio Vista and it's related companies.

The Northern Valley Suburbanite featured Rio Vista Alpine in an article by Amy McKenna, titled “FOX Television Looks To Alpine As Filming Locale.” The FOX television network is taking the necessary steps to seek approval from the Mayor of Alpine to film a pilot television show located at 44 Rio Vista Drive in Alpine, NJ.
The pilot show, “Lights Out” will be a drama, directed by Clark Johnson and starring Holt McCallany, about a former heavy weight boxing champion, struggling with his life after his days in the ring are over. More information on the upcoming FOX drama series can be found at FOX Broadcasting.
The article also features the Stone Clock Tower, known to some as the “Devil’s Tower”. The tower was originally built by Manuel Rionda, for his wife, whose spirit is also rumored to haunt the tower and its surrounding areas. Rio Vista restored the tower in 1984 during it's development of Rio Vista Alpine. The Stone Clock Tower now welcomes people as they enter the Rio Vista Section of Alpine.
