The 300 acre tract was the country estate of sugar baron Emanuel Rionda in the early 20th Century. The site is located on the New Jersey Palisades 10 minutes north of the George Washington Bridge in Alpine, NJ. The Leasing of New Jersey Endodontics
Rio Vista is pleased to announce the leasing of 1,300 square feet to New Jersey Laser Endodontics, on the second floor of the New Jersey Health Care Center (NJHCC). The practice of Brian P. Trava, DMD, PA, SuJean Oh, DDS, Alison Petix, DMD, and Christopher Bauer, DMD. Endodontics is a specialty of saving teeth. They are the first Endodontic practice is the first in New Jersey to raise the level of care by using laser in root canal treatment and root canal surgery. The specialty includes traumatic and sports injuries to teeth, tooth bleaching, oral-facial pain diagnosis and emergency treatment for tooth pain. The endodontic practice offers conscious sedation for patients that need to go to sleep.

The Rio Vista property known as "Darlington - the Country Estate of George Crocker" is recognized as one of the most architecturally outstanding early-20th Century estate homes in America. This historic mansion was built between 1902 and 1907 as the country residence of George Crocker, the son of one of America's great railroad pioneers. The mansion is listed in The National Register of Historic Places.
Rio Vista restored the mansion over a period of four years, upgrading the HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems without disturbing of the fine architectural details and finishes of the original design. The restoration involved development challenges such as the application of original building techniques and craftsmanship, plasterworks, special carvings and restoration of original fine wood floors, pegs and paneling.
