The Leasing of Interventional Pain Medicine

Rio Vista is pleased to announce the leasing of 2,280 square feet to Interventional Pain Medicine of New Jersey, on the second floor of the New Jersey Health Care Center (NJHCC). The center for Interventional Pain Medicine of New Jersey will consist of Doctor Kenneth H. Park, DO, Doctor Ajay Varma, MD, and their dedicated staff.

Doctor Park is trained in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He received his bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy at Albany College of Pharmacy, Union University and his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he graduated with honors. In addition, he was awarded the Merck Pharmaceutical Award, Rho Chi Honors, and Psi Sigma Alpha Honors. He completed his anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Doctor Varma went to medical school at the University of Manchester and completed his Anesthesiology residency and Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York.

Interventional Pain Medicine of New Jersey will offer a comprehensive approach to pain management, including medical, interventional, psychosocial, osteopathic manipulation, and physical rehabilitation. Interventional Pain Medicine of New Jersey is also affiliated with Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, New Jersey.

The Leasing of OBGYN Associates

Rio Vista is pleased to announce the leasing of 3,640 square feet to Myles Dotto MD, Belle Wang, MD and Glenn Foley MD of OBGYN Associates on the second floor of the New Jersey Health Care Center. The practice specializes in obstetrics and gynecology with an emphasis on personal and individualized care.

Doctor Myles Dotto has 29 years of experience in the medical field. He received his medical degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, an affliate of the Brown University Program in Medicine. He has been selected as a "Top Doctor" in Obstetrics and Gynecology by Castle and Connolley, New York Magazine, New Jersey Life, and the Consumers Research Council of America. He is affiliated with Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ.

Dr. Wang is a graduate of Cornell Medical School and completed her residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, NJ. She has been in the practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology for over 14 years and is also affiliated with Valley Hospital.

Dr. Foley performed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the New York Methodist Hospital and has been in practice here in Bergen County in affiliation with Valley Hospital since 1996.

In the Press: Glimpse Bergen's 'crème de la crème'

The Record has highlighted Rio Vista in today's Real Estate Section titled "Glimpse Bergen's 'crème de la crème'" by Carol Fletcher. The 300 acre tract was the country estate of sugar baron Emanuel Rionda in the early 20th Century. The site is located on the New Jersey Palisades 10 minutes north of the George Washington Bridge in Alpine, NJ. Rio Vista developed the entire tract in the late 1980's with 197 housing sites, miles of roadway, infrastructure and related facilities.

The Leasing of Bergen Primary Care Associates

Rio Vista is pleased to announce the leasing of 2,133 square feet, on the second floor of the NJHCC to Doctor Daniel Wilkin. His practice, Bergen Primary Care Associates, provides comprehensive family medicine and Osteopathic Manipulation.

Dr. Wilkins is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice, the American Board of Family Medicine, and also board certified in Osteopathic Manipulation. The Leasing of New Jersey Endodontics

Rio Vista is pleased to announce the leasing of 1,300 square feet to New Jersey Laser Endodontics, on the second floor of the New Jersey Health Care Center (NJHCC). The practice of Brian P. Trava, DMD, PA, SuJean Oh, DDS, Alison Petix, DMD, and Christopher Bauer, DMD. Endodontics is a specialty of saving teeth. They are the first Endodontic practice is the first in New Jersey to raise the level of care by using laser in root canal treatment and root canal surgery. The specialty includes traumatic and sports injuries to teeth, tooth bleaching, oral-facial pain diagnosis and emergency treatment for tooth pain. The endodontic practice offers conscious sedation for patients that need to go to sleep.

Dr. Trava, a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in endodontic specialty, started the practice in Hawthorne in 1990, with a second office in Ho-Ho-Kus. He was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Post Graduate Endodontics at U.M.D.N.J. Dr. Trava belongs to the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary International. Rio Vista is pleased to announce the sale of Crocker Mansion for use as a residential dwelling.

The Rio Vista property known as "Darlington - the Country Estate of George Crocker" is recognized as one of the most architecturally outstanding early-20th Century estate homes in America. This historic mansion was built between 1902 and 1907 as the country residence of George Crocker, the son of one of America's great railroad pioneers. The mansion is listed in The National Register of Historic Places.

Rio Vista restored the mansion over a period of four years, upgrading the HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems without disturbing of the fine architectural details and finishes of the original design. The restoration involved development challenges such as the application of original building techniques and craftsmanship, plasterworks, special carvings and restoration of original fine wood floors, pegs and paneling.

The article focuses on Hackensack University Medical Center's two MICU units dispatched from Westwood that are currently serving 18 municipalities in the Pascack and Northern valleys and confronts the burden absorbed by the surrounding area hospitals.

The Bergen Record has highlighted Rio Vista’s project: The New Jersey Health Care Center in todays Business Section titled "Hospital's closure opens a door". According to the Record, this Rio Vista facility will help fill gaps in medical services from the closing of Pascack Valley Hospital, which filed for bankruptcy in September and halted clinical services two months later.

The New Jersey Health Care Center is an existing 84,000 outpatient medical facility built to accommodate a surgery center, imaging center, urgent care center and offices for primary care and specialty care physicians.
