New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection issues site wide No Further Action

Rio Vista is pleased to announce that the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) issued an unrestricted use, site wide No Further Action Letter and Covenant Not to Sue (NFA), dated September 10, 2007, for the Rio Vista Greens development located at 199 Paris Avenue in Northvale, Bergen County, New Jersey.

Rio Vista worked closely with the NJDEP in its mission to assist the residents of New Jersey in preserving, sustaining, protecting and enhancing the environment, and to ensure the integration of high environmental quality in Rio Vista Greens. The Whitman Companies was the environmental engineer and Thomas J. O'Beirne Company was the primary contractor for the environmental clean-up program, which was accomplished in less than a year at a cost in excess of $2 Million.

Rio Vista Greens is the newest secure gated community (55 and older) with amenities including a clubhouse, pool, and 1.2 acres of parks. Residences range in price from $365,000 to over $1 Million. The site is located in Northeast Bergen County opposite the Rockleigh Golf Course and just minutes from the George Washington Bridge. For further information, please contact Rio Vista.
